NOTE: iTunes recently changed a couple words in their links causing this app not to work. After recoding my skin, I have fixed the problem and it is now working fine again. If you have version 1.0, please download the newest version.

Likemate is an easy way to find new music, movies, tv shows and books. It takes what you search and brings back 24 similar items. What makes it unique however is it's 2 stages of searching. It first finds 6 similar items, then it finds 3 similar items to each of the first 6. Bringing you back results you might not usually discover. Hover over each item to get more information, including the title, link to iTunes page, preview link and a "search for that item" option. Likemate also includes a tab/icon you can place anywhere on your desktop to show/hide the app.
Further Info:
Click on the play icon in the item's info pane to bring up a preview. Music items bring up a 30 second clip of that artists most popular song. Movies and TV bring up a link to Youtube for a trailer. Books do not have a preview option. Click on the item's title to search with Likemate again for that item.
If some of the tiles don't load, you can hover over the top of the first 6 main tiles to reveal a "+" button. Click it to manually load the items.
Tiles are color coded to show you each "set" of similar items.
Likemate is a rework of my previous skin, "Tastetree." I added more search results and new features and redesigned the whole thing to make it more compact.

Just an FYI to anyone wanting to download this skin. iTunes has completely changed all their html on their pages so this skin no longer works. In retrospect, I should have tried to write the code using the iTunes API where updates would be much less frequent. But live and learn. Anyhoo, I most likely will never update this skin since no one really wanted it to begin with. You can check out my Arc Menu Launcher skin which has a section that finds similar music artists if that's what you're looking for
